World Cup Fever!
21 days until the most prominent sports tournament kicks off. 25 days until i'm sitting in Category 1, Row 11, Seat 8 at Zentral Stadion in Leipzig watching Andriy Shevchenko and Co. play the infamous underachievers Spain.hopefully i'm lucky enough to get my hands on more Ukraine tickets, especially vs. Tunisia. but all in all, i'm happy with 1 match. be sure to watch it on TV, everyone. i'll be somewhere along the half line, waving my blue and yellow flag with Львів written on it in big black bold letters!

And on an unrelated note: does anybody know where I can buy a Ukraine home jersey? I asked at Kicks and they aren't sure if they will be receiving any. All of the North American websites I've checked still list it as a pre-order item. Anybody know a reputable web store in Europe that would ship to Canada at a reasonable price?
you can buy authentic Ukraine game jerseys at subsidesports.co.uk or fifaworldcupstore.com, but they are pricey. there are a few variations, but the HOME jersey is the yellow one with 6 lines pointing to the federation logo, while the away is dark blue.
if you're looking for replicas, visit dkm-merchandise.com, they still have some older Ukraine jerseys from EURO 2004 qualifying and friendlies at under 30 dollars. but do order one size above what you usually wear cause European sizes are all a bit smaller. the service is fast too. i might be ordering a scarf from them before i leave.
there's always ebay...i buy from the exosports shop.
