Tottenham is threatening to sue
It seems Tottenham is now threatening to sue the hotel they stayed at along with the English Premier League because of the food poisoning that supposedly cost them their Champions League berth. Of course, they were already talking about taking legal action if they were to be forced out of the Champions League by Arsenal winning this year's title, so I'm not sure what to make of this. Yes, it was a tough break for the team to go into a crucial game at less than full strength, but it's not like Arsenal was anywhere near healthy for most of the season. Who's to say they wouldn't have choked even if they were fully healthy? West Ham isn't to be taken lightly, just ask the Gunners who fell 3-2 at Highbury back in February.
I'm sure they will whine about this for the next 100 years if their moaning about how Arsenal got into the top division after WWI is any indication.

well, you know it was a conspiracy. arsenal had their fan hired as the cook three months ago just so that he could have the spurs poisoned before their final game.
while the spurs are rarely lucky when it comes to winning things, they are lucky in the extreme when it comes to conspiracy theories and reasons for losing out. for long suffering spurs fans this will likely be even better than having made the champs league. now they can piss and moan forever. 100 years, as you quite rightly pointed out.
but, like henry said, no one was giving arsenal sympathy when nine of their main squad was out through injury, so why should any of us care about the spurs. i know i don't.
it just gets better and better...now they want a replay. what a bunch of fuckwits.
sounds dodgy to me...they should just accept their fate.
and the spurs are DENIED....not surprised there
