yeah...what a lame kit. i only hope the inter milan style kit that canadian gooner found is really our new alternate kit.
i sure am going to miss the O2.
p.s. does anyone else think that van Persie looks like our national animal? shouldn't he be on our nickel?

My first bet after seeing the picture was
a moose.
I too loved the 02. It always made for interesting conversations with Canadians that have no idea about the telecom company (why does your shirt have oxygen on it?). I don't mind the new one, it's better than the redcurrant from last year or the previous year's shirt with the gold outline IMO. It's certainly better than some of Arsenal's past jerseys (such as 91-93 away, 95-97 away, 85 away)

The Man Utd one is supposed to be a tribute to the Busby Babes team of the 1950's (the Munich crash of '58) which explains it's retro look. I actually don't mind the white background for the crest, but AIG needs to drop the rectangle from around their name.
i kinda dig the plain look of the man utd. good call on aig dropping the box
i think its the box that's throwing me off (and well, i have an aversion to red) ha ha
