cats down & man utd out

I was shocked to discover today that I hate Man Utd more than Chelsea. One would think that the ill-gotten gains of Abramovich coupled with the big mouth of Moanihno and the Blues' London proximity to the Gunners would make me hate the latter more, but somehow the slightly less ill-gotten gains of Glazer coupled with a whole team of whiny, dirty, cheating, overrated players -- whom I can't stand -- and the Red Devil's terminally "superior" fans makes me hate the former more.

Congrats Black Cats for saving some face (even with relegation) and shoving the ball down Man U's throat. If nothing else it clarified some things for me, and gave me a big hearty laugh. Too bad for you guys though that you'll be losing two of your best players next season: Hoyte will be back at Arsenal and there is no way you will be able to hold onto keeper Kelvin Davis. See you back in the Premiership a couple of years from now.

While I hate ManU(re) passionately, I am going to be their biggest fan on Monday. A win against Tottenham would set Arsenal up nicely for next weekend's all important North London derby.

I also find Chelsea far less disagreeable than Man U, probably because my brother is a Red Devil fan and I keep losing my wagers with him. Watching the 1979 FA Cup final on FSW does tend to cheer me up :)

so does that mean you'll be chelsea fans for a day when they take on ManU(re) on the 29th (and clinch the EPL)?

just asking... :)
