Chelsea vs. Barcelona

Anyhoo - today in my Chelsea newsletter, I found this article:

Chelsea will play Barcelona in the Round of 16 knockout stage of this season’s UEFA Champions League.

Chelsea was the first name taken out of the pots in Friday morning’s draw in Switzerland. When the Spanish champions were the second name out, a repeat of the tie at this stage of the tournament last season was ensured.

Chelsea won last season’s encounter 5-4 on aggregate. That was our first aggregate win over the Catalan giants having lost to them in 1966 and 2000. Barcelona have lost all three of their visits to Stamford Bridge. Chelsea have lost four games in Camp Nou.

The home leg will be played on Wednesday 22nd February with away leg on Tuesday 7th March.
