The Beautiful Game
Someone at work actually said to me that football (as it is known to the rest of the world) is the most boring sport to watch on television. All that running around with only the possibility of one point being scored. I said "how very North American of you".
He was a tad bit insulted, but he just pissed on my parade of taking an empty office and changing it into a lounge with large screen television so we could watch the World Cup at work. But hey, he's also an accountant that played one measley season with the Calgary Stampeders. Need I say more?
