are we really arsenal fans?

now's the time that will test our resolve. out of all three cups in the span of two weeks. we lost all cups last year. we are riddled with injuries, riddled with suspensions (two deserved and one not). life looks good for the future, but for now it looks terrible.

are we fans? am i a fan?

you bet your fucking ass. i won't miss any league games this year, even though the best we can hope for is a champs league qualifying spot.

it's not the wins that make you a fan. it's the losses and how loyal you remain. i am staying, no matter how bad it gets.

p.s. FUCK!

So much for the cups this year. Oh well, we'll still beat out Liverpool for the meaningless third place finish. On to next year. For what it's worth I'll still be watching any televised Arsenal games this year. I guess I'll have to cheer for Lyon in the Champions League, Man City in the FA Cup and a massive scandal leading to both Chelski and Man United getting point deductions in the premiership :)

On an unrelated note, would anybody be interested in purchasing two tickets to the Sunday July 8 U-20 World Cup games in Edmonton (Mexico v. New Zealand and Canada v. Congo)? I bought two tickets, but I have found out that I actually needed a third seat as well. The seats are section K, row 26 and cost me $47.70 (for the pair). I'll sell for $45 or best offer.

ok, thanks to both of you. I'm confident that I'll be able to get rid of those seats which means I can go ahead and order the three that I'll actually use. I'm looking forward to my first live football matches (unless I find a game going on in Lima or La Paz while I'm down there :)

I'm heading to Peru in May for a vacation (Machu Picchu, the Amazon, etc.). Unfortunately I don't think there are any games being played in Lima during the couple of days I am there. I haven't found a website for the Bolivian football league, so I'm not sure about La Paz.

you may get lucky with some of the youth teams, who are very well represented. who knows...you may even hit one of the national squad games in prep for the U-20 world cup
