Beckham to the MLS?
David Beckham to the MLS? I am not to sure what to think of this potential move. There is one side of me that thinks he should pack it in on the other side of the pond where it all started. Why take a step down as your career is slowly coming to an end?
On the flip side it would be pretty cool watching him play in New York. If this was to happen could he drag others over to play in the MLS?

i'd like to see it myself. it would certainly be good for mls, so long as it didn't turn the mls into the all retirement league. if it could bring more strong overseas players at the height of their carreer that would make it worthwhile.
i believe, along with laineygossip.com (an avid beckham and posh fan) that this is one way for the beckhams to conquer the world. they haven't acheived fame status in the US, and this is one way to attempt to do it. for pete's sake, they've resorted to befriending the gay midget dwarf (tom cruise) and his brainwashed debutante ('kate') to gain some recognition. its sad, really.
but like you all said,
it gives those of us who live in the americas a way of seeing some legends without having to watch them at the 'legend' games at the saddledome...
