the beckham empire grows and grows.
on bbc radio 1 this morning, they said with his 5 year deal with LA, he'll be able to make 1 million pounds for every week he plays.

so, who wants to go to LA to see becks play?
i'm thinking toronto.
Apparently the often quoted $250 million breaks down as $3 million per year of salary with the rest coming from Beckham retaining full control of his world-wide image rights. So, prepare to see a ton of Becks in the next few years as he tries to get every dollar he can out of the deal.
And be prepared to pay a bunch to see him play. I'm sure LA's games will sell out awfully fast (Toronto FC has already sold 100 season tickets today with this announcement - single games aren't on sale yet as the schedule hasn't been announced).
yes, i got an email from Toronto FC about it all - i'll go wherever to see him play. why not? contribute more to his trust fund ha ha
i may go to kansas city to see him play if the wizards are still around, then catch the royals too.
