It won't happen. The guys that have bought Man United and Chelski have done so for a reason. They enjoy the hunt and more importantly the kill. They are programmed to do whatever it takes to kill their competitors. Glazer excelled in a no salary cap NFL and I am sure Abramovich has gotten to where he is today by coddling his foes.

a salary cap is a bad idea. it fails to recognize the role of the labourer, the player, and lines the pockets of the superrich, like abramovich and glazer.
and i'd still rather that my money was in the pocket of henry lampard or van nistelrooy than abromovich and glazer.
